Nginx RTMP Module Video streaming

Is there anybody who has experience working with nginx and rtmp for video streaming. How many bandwidth can it handle? I am running two stream and serving them as hls so viewers can watch in browser. As nginx saves the chunks in HDD is there will be any issue with the HDD read speed. In that case what will be the solution.

  1. Your best solution to this is to cache the chunks. I’m assuming you are streaming with a protocol like dash/hls.Reading from disk will get slow eventually, RAM is way more efficent.
