TabXpert vs Tab Session Manager, any experiences? (Retiring SessionBuddy for lack of Dark Mode and auto-backup)

So I'm probably retiring SessionBuddy and moving to one of these two extensions. I developed floaters and have recently had to move all my apps into dark mode so they aren't distracting me every 2 seconds. The only extension I have that I wasn't able to change to dark mode was sessionbuddy much to my disappointment. There is also no auto-backup which is very concerning should my PC ever get damaged or fail.

I researched for session managers with dark mode and narrowed it down to these two. Before I go through the arduous task of migrating and adapting to a new layout, since there's no fully working import function, can anyone tell me what their experience has been with these? I've been using SessionBuddy for almost 8 years so it's frustrating to have to give it up but the developer has said they're not able to add auto-backup and dark mode has been "low priority" for years.

Enable an experimental feature in chrome://flags if you have ‘Dark Reader’ extensions. A brilliant catch, it also darkens chrome web store! 😀 eyes = saved
