  1. This would probably be in the JS and not flask part, but since the browser fetches “All” Hacks first, it’s not really necessary to make another API call when the user changes the filter dropdown. It’s a (minor) drain on your API and on the user’s network/mobile data.

    (This advice should be ignored if your set of Hacks grows really big and would benefit from [server-side pagination](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/8368002/search-filter-should-i-do-it-client-side-or-server-side))

    I dig it, great idea bringing multiple sources together.
