  1. Get Microsoft Edge if you’re using Windows. The new Edge is built on Chromium, the same engine that powers Google Chrome. So, it will render webpages as fast as Chrome if not faster. It comes with a built-in tracker blocker, and it is more memory efficient than Chrome.

  4. I use operah gx, and oh my god it’s the best browser I’ve ever used. It has so much customization, you can set a ram limit and a cpu limit, it has a lot of useful functions too, like built in toggle-able vpn and it all runs off chrome api

  5. As I mentioned elsewhere, try browsers based on Goanna or Webkit engine, not Blink: K-Meleon, Basilisk, Pale Moon, Otter Browser, Epiphany (Web). They are much RAM-efficient.
