Session Buddy NEEDS Dark Mode, for users with eye conditions like floaters this is an accessibility concern

Everything on my PC has dark mode *except* this one extension. I already sent a message to the developer to no response and left a review.

Does anyone know when and if Session Buddy is getting dark mode? I love everything about the extension and couldn't live without it and I've been using it since before I had floaters.

Considering how popular it is I'm really surprised it doesn't have dark mode when everything else does.

  1. You can change the CSS file in the extension files and make the background color dark and the font color white. Takes about 30 seconds. I don’t know why the devs postpone this.

But as soon as you do change the CSS file chrome detects it and disable the extension as corrupted.

  2. I found this solution just now that I tried and worked.

If the link doesn’t work for you, here are the steps for each browser.

Chrome/Edge – in the search bar, type
    chrome://flags
Press the enter key, then search for dark mode, and switch it to “Enabled”
It works for edge as well, since it will correct itself to edge://flags, but works the same way as chrome

I was gonna post the commands for Firefox and Opera, but checked and saw that they don’t even have session buddy, so I left them out.

Hope this helps those that haven’t run across this solution yet.
