Audiobook streaming platform with Ruby on Rails and AWS stack

Hi guys!

I recently was faced with the problem of setting up an audiobook streaming platform on AWS using Ruby on Rails and VideoJS. I described the challenges I encountered in the series of blog posts. Maybe someone will find it useful πŸ™‚

  1. I know it’s not a Rails question, but with respect to CloudFront and cookie signing, can you expand on what you did with regards to setting up a custom domain with CloudFront and presumably the ssl very too.

I’m looking at cookie signing but finding the docs a bit difficult to sift through to get a cert imported and hooked up correctly. I presume you had a similar config to get cookie signing working.
