That’s great news!
Been on a M1 MBP since December. The Docker previews have certainly come a long way since then. However, some of the known issues are still dealbreakers, especially the bug with filesystem changes/\`inotify\` when running under emulation. Luckily I have a Linux desktop as well or else I would seriously consider switching back to an Intel MBP for the rest of the year.
Holy shit!!! This is huuuuge!!!!
still rocking my 2017 mbp but dumb question – what were some of the issues with Apple silicon vs intel with docker?
M1 Macs are stupidly good. I’ve been around long enough to be very skeptical and mostly avoid all hype, but this shit is real. The improvements are massive and if you are spending 1000-2000$ on a laptop right now that isn’t an M1 Mac, you really need to be asking yourself WTF you are doing.
