  1. I keep extensions down to a bare minimum. For one, most tasks can be accomplished without an extension given a little thought, Secondly, using a lot of extensions helps to fingerprint your browser more readily. The only three extensions I use are Bitwarden, uBlock Origin, and Privacy Redirect.

  2. ViolentMonkey – Userscripts
NeatURL – Cleans tracking residue in URLs
    PrivacyBadger – Stops tracking
Dark Reader – I am in love with Dark Theme and this helps make every site force dark
Pushbullet – For sending links to my other devices
    Bitwarden – Password Manager
Web Scrobbler – For last.fm scrobbling
Nano Adblocker and Nano Defender – For adblocking and anti-anti-adblockers
    HTTPS Everywhere – Self explanatory
Enhancer for youtube – Tons of nice features

    * [Video DownloadHelper](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/) \- download videos, or/and copy video link to play in video player (PotPlayer, MPC-BE, VLC…)
    * [Undo Close Tab](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/undoclosetabbutton/) \- 1-click button to open last closed tab, right click to show menu with last closed tabs
    * [Cycle Last Used Tabs](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/clut-cycle-last-used-tabs/) \- 1-click button to toggle between last two tabs (like Ctrl+Tab)
    * [CopyTabTitleUrl](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/copytabtitleurl/) \- copy tab title and link in custom format with a single click to paste (also) in the forums (no need to copy name and link separately and click the URL button)
    * [Paste and Go Key](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/paste-and-go-key/) \- paste URL/text from clipboard and open it in the same tab, or new tab in foreground or background, with a single click to button or using a keyboard shortcut

    * [uBlock Origin](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/) \- ad blocker
    * [OneTab](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/onetab/) \- move all tabs to one tab with a single click, multiple groups with tabs, restore whole group of tabs with a single click (same as “Set these tabs aside” in old Edge)
    * [Go Up Button](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/go-up-button/) \- go up one level (it doesn’t work at all sites)
    * [Close Tab in Context Menu](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/context-menu-close-tab/) \- “Close tab” item in the context menu to close tab easily
    * [Read aloud](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/read-aloud/) \- TTS – Text-To-Speech, read any site aloud, auto-detect language, options to change voice, speed, pitch, volume, keyboard shortcuts to Play/Pause, Stop, Forward, Rewind
    * [Automatic Spelling Language](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/automatic-spelling-language/) \- auto change dictionary for spell checking
    * [Duplicate tab](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/duplicate_tab/) \- duplicates the current tab from keyboard shortcuts or when you click the icon
    * [Forecastfox](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/forecastfox-fix-version/) \- weather forecast, current weather within the toolbar button, many useful options

And some useful About:config options for Firefox:

Toggle this one to *true*, to open a new tab next to the current tab when opening it from bookmarks, or using Ctrl+T, or “+” tab tutton.

To change tab width, *76* is default value.

Spell checking also in 1-line text boxes, value *2*.

Disable delay time when installing extensions, value *0*.

Set this one to *false*, just to disable annoying warning at start.

Value *true* disable screenshot, scissors, also from the context menu.

Custom zoom values, my values *0.75,.8,.85,.9,.95,1,1.05,1.1,1.15,1.2,1.25,1.3,1.4,1.5,2*.

Value *true* opens bookmarks in a new tab.

Determines how to animate multi-frame GIF images, value *once* is to limit it to play just once.

Value *enabled* allow to use the arrow keys to seek and change volume in picture-in-picture video.

  4. Tree Tabs – best vertical tabs extension. Tree Style Tabs is kind of a joke compared to it, despite being more popular, even with like 10 additional addons it still doesn’t have even half functionality of Tree Tabs.
With this you don’t need extensions like Duplicate tab or OneTab.
    uBlock Origin – block ads
    Search by Image
    Tampermonkey – run scripts
Dark Reader – dark mode for everything
    SponsorBlock – blocks YT sponsorships
ClearURLs – clear tracking garbage from links
    Privacy Badger – block trackers
Auto Tab Discard – free up memory
