It is a bummer, but I cannot reach Docker Hub team neither via e-mails, nor via [Docker Hub Feedback repo](https://github.com/docker/hub-feedback/issues/1741).
I cannot even re-create the image since Docker Hub believes that "repository with this name and namespace already exists", but it clearly doesn't exist anymore.
Are there any other means of communication with Docker Hub team?
I would wait for a response from them. Since it’s an image that contains oracle software and doesn’t have an acceptance of the EULA, it may have been requested to be removed by Oracle.
Edit:
It looks like quite a few were removed but the official ones from Oracle remain
Here is another one that 404s
https://hub.docker.com/r/sath89/oracle-12c/
Another image I used with Oracle XE also disappeared, lets wait for a response
So — let me get this straight — Docker can look into your repo and pull stuff without warning you first??
*snorts, oracle….
This is my main complaint with docker.
I bet if you read rules of dockerhub its said there they can drop any image that violates rules without notice
[I believe this diagram qualifies the situation fairly well.](https://i.imgur.com/5nseHkx.png)
Try twitter, ive had luck in the past to getting things resolved when its on a more public stage.
This is going to be way out of context but why would companies use Oracle instead of Postgres ?
