Can I recommend a beginners tutorial?

I'm just getting in to docker and have followed a few tutorials, but I have found this series (3 so far) really good.

What I have found in these tutorial is the best explanation of **why** you do something when building a dockerfile rather than just how to do it, especially the lesson 3 where your build an phpslim docker image.

I am a beginner so for most of you these tuts are probably a bit basic, but if you're starting out I'd say its a good starting point.

A great place to learn about Docker, Kubernetes, and Prometheus. I was in a session at VMworld on containers and many folks start here. I have only made it through the first few on Docker (and I need to refresh my understanding again), but I can say this is a good site.

    Hope that helps.
