Congrats, guys.
I like the technology a lot, but I don’t see the business model for the company. Docker EE (their biggest money maker) has low adoption compared to an OpenShift.
Does anybody see a sustainable business model for Docker the company – or is it an acquisition waiting to happen?
As a technology, it’s awesome. Powerful, flexible, scalable. But their enterprise support with Docker EE? Terrible. Weeks to respond, with answers that often amount to “Hmm, I dunno, what do you think?”
OpenShift, Kubernetes, hell even compose/ansible with portainer is a better and more usable experience.
Edit: lemme add that UCP is a piece of crap.
