  1. I like the technology a lot, but I don’t see the business model for the company. Docker EE (their biggest money maker) has low adoption compared to an OpenShift.

    Does anybody see a sustainable business model for Docker the company – or is it an acquisition waiting to happen?

  2. As a technology, it’s awesome. Powerful, flexible, scalable. But their enterprise support with Docker EE? Terrible. Weeks to respond, with answers that often amount to “Hmm, I dunno, what do you think?”

    OpenShift, Kubernetes, hell even compose/ansible with portainer is a better and more usable experience.

    Edit: lemme add that UCP is a piece of crap.
