Do you have any particular problems with it or do you just hate change? I’m not being flippant, just looking for more information.

I can’t sort them alphabetically anymore. WTF??
I re-installed Chrome and boom! old bookmarks again. New bookmarks are awful.

I’m indifferent to it right now, but it seems like an unnecessary feature to add or change. There wasn’t really anything wrong with the previous manager. It doesn’t appear that you can sort the items within a folder by name now either.

I hated it so much I went to this subreddit hoping this very thread existed without ever being to this subreddit before.
I think ‘hate’ is such a very inappropriate term to use for software. Get a grip.
Sometimes I feel like Google engineers are made up a bunch of kids who try to one up another, and instead of introducing features that will be useful to people, they fuck it up by trying to look “pretty”. Their aps are sometimes unusable.
For example, Google Drive has nothing on Dropbox in terms of usability. I guess they are getting too big, and teams are sabotaging each other with stupid features – like MS of the past
What build are you guys on that you’re getting this? Canary? I’m using 42.0.2311.90 m and still have the same old same old.

I really like Chrome and I don’t see myself switching to Firefox because of all the neat syncing stuff with gmail, my android phone, extensions etc…. But stuff like this really makes me reconsider that. Why do they want us to hate them…

I’d like to think that Google listens to its users. I think that if they get enough focused feedback on a specific feature, they will very likely change it.

What were the chrome developers thinking? First the apps page gets shitty and they add a extremely redundant google search box to the middle of the new tab page that wastes space when you can just search from the omnibox, and now this? WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE BOOKMARKS GOOGLE? I’ll tell you what…NOTHING! Why oh why must you continually make your browser crappier? This is atrocious and we shouldn’t have to stand for it. If anyone can post a comment with all the places I/we can go to complain and hopefully get our voices heard (wishful thinking I know) on this because bookmarks shouldn’t be this complicated.

I installed Firefox after a brief period of extreme frustration with 42 (ironic that they picked version 42 to do this.)

CTRL-B. Type and search. Click. Super productive. Love it. Feel good. Problem solved. Life is good.
Will still use Chrome for development tools, but that’s about it.
Wow… just wow… everything is ruined now, i can’t even sort my fucking bookmarks anymore so if you have a folder that is in the middle of hundreds of bookmarks it wont show you the folder first, so you need to scroll through the fucking list to find it, and i have A LOT of links and folders, this is hell. I think its the same people who “improve” youtube over the years…
I hate you Google for doing this. Really I do.
First they ruined Hangouts, which was great prior to ruining it.
